Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Open Face Sandwich
An easy classic combination.
Servings: 4 servings
- 2 bagels sliced in half horizontally
- 4 ounces light cream cheese
- 4 ounces smoked salmon
- 2 scallions trimmed and tough leaves removed; thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion finely minced
- 2 tablespoons capers
- Spread a uniform layer of cream cheese on bagel. Top with thin slices of smoked salmon. Sprinkle with any of the garnishes or pass separately.
Pumpernickel bread also works well.
